Shame’s first line-up gets born in 1996 in Milan, Italy. After building its own sound and spending the following six years playing all over the North of Italy, the band records its first Ep, titled “Sad”, in 2002.
“Sad” includes five unreleased tracks (listen to “Goldring”, “Queen Of The Blue Train”, “Bridge Of Sighs”, “Sunday” and “Crashed Thoughts”) and sells around 500 copies without the support of any promotion.
In 2005 the band molds into its definitive line-up (Vee joins Ped and Ribo) and shoots its first official video clip (download “Sunday” video or watch it online).
Two years later, Shame releases its first full-length album, the 11-track “Gone” (listen to the album preview).
The album gets a one-year promotion by Poison Tree Records, an independent record label from Santa Monica, California while the band shoots its second official video, “Additive”.
In 2011, Shame finally records its new single, “Induction Of Penitence”, including two brand new tracks (“Apocalypto” and “The Burning Flag”) showing the massive growth the band has been going through. The new Ep hopefully anticipates the release of a second full-length studio album, since several tracks are ready to be recorded.
In order to do so, Shame needs a new label and a booking agency.
In the meantime, it’s a pleasure to share with you all the consistency of Shame’s two new songs: that’s why you can listen to a preview of both “Apocalypto” and “The Burning Flag”.
